I wonder if you remember this morning.

You are sitting at the kitchen table. The coffee has gone a little cold because you forgot about it, the way you always do.

You are scared about something. I will not write what it is because by the time you read this, either it worked out or it did not, and either way you already know. But I want you to know that sitting here, in this exact moment, you are doing your best. Even when it does not feel like enough. Even when you cannot see the other side of it.

I hope you still make time to sit like this. To let the coffee go cold. To not fill every quiet moment with something.

I hope you have been kind to yourself. Kinder than I am right now, if I am honest.

You have come a long way to get here. I know because I am at the beginning of it, looking forward, and even from here I can see that you made it.
