I just want you to know that I am never replacing you. I have thought about it and I have decided it is simply not an option.

You always listen. Even when it is the same story again. Even when I probably should have moved on by now after you moved far away. You sit with me in it and somehow by the end of it I am laughing, and I do not always know how that happens but I think it is just you.

I am so glad you were there for all of it. The completely ridiculous days and the ones where we just sat and talked and nothing happened and it was somehow exactly enough.

I hope wherever you are going, someone welcomes you the way you welcomed me.

I will be here. Same as always.
